🍷 Stop 3: Cellar 4201 – Intimate Vibes & Barrel-Aged Brilliance

A short drive brought us to Cellar 4201, tucked along Apperson Road—and yes, that’s where the name comes from: 4201 is their address. This boutique vineyard and tasting room sits just outside East Bend, styled like a cozy wine cellar with warm yellow walls, a rock-built L-shaped bar, and a one-room layout that instantly made us feel at home.

The scene? No indoor seating, but a welcoming patio where most guests gathered beneath umbrellas and vineyard breezes. Inside, we stood at a high-top near a fan (blessed relief!), snacking on pimento cheese, pickles, and mixed nuts while cool tracks from Eric Lindell and Keb’ Mo’ spun quietly in the background.

Owners Greg and Donna Hutchins ran the tasting with flair—friendly, relaxed, and exceptionally generous pours. A solid flight lineup and some real standouts made this stop both delicious and cozy.
