🍷 About the Travelers – Hungry, Curious, and Always Thirsty for a Good Story
If there’s a backroad leading to a vineyard, a dive with wings worth waiting for, or a side street grill slinging Cuban rum and plantains, chances are I’ve been there—or has it marked for next time.
I’m Brian Winter, a Traveler that roams the East Coast with a camera in one hand, a tasting journal in the other, and a knack for finding the soul of a place between bites, sips, and local lore. From velvet-seated flights in the shadow of Pilot Mountain to late-night garbage plates under fluorescent lights, every stop is more than a location—it’s a story, waiting to be uncorked.
I’m curious, asking about the difference between red hots and white hots before ordering both. I’m hungry, savoring BBQ with a $500 tab with coworkers and zero regrets. I’m thirsty, chasing Traminette bubbles and Pink blends from JOLO to Divine Llama. Often, I’m joined by a companion—sometimes a coworker from across the pond, mostly, my wife, Jane, with a shared appetite for discovery.
And if you find yourself in a winery, brewery, or pub along the way? There’s a chance you’ll hear me toast:
